BOOKSHELF
Designed by David Chipperfield
Year 2010
A wooden bookcase with a distinctive design characterized by asymmetrically placed shelves and spacers. This bookcase offers the possibility of being used as a dividing element within the environment. The third shelf, a little more protruding than the others, can be used as a shelf or a desk.
In the Briccola version the shelves are in solid wood and the spacers are in oak veneered blockboard. The 2019 Bookshelf model, on the other hand, is made entirely of veneered blockboard.
Spotlights can be added on request, in which case all the shelves are aligned at the back.

Technical Notes
"All samples, as well as pictures of the available materials and finishes, are to be considered as purely indicative. Possible differences in colour and features of the materials used for production cannot be considered as reason for claim, because linked to their
natural characteristics (e.g. wood grain and knots, aspect of the iron or of leather and fabric etc.) or to the handcraft (e.g. lacquer on iron etc.)."
