Gualtiero Marchesi made a pact with life. He asked to remain young, and life granted his wish. It is a privilege earned by honoring a single condition: one does not grow old if they continue to take an interest in young people, offering them more than just a portion of their time—so that the time given, whether little or much, transforms into space, and from space into a meaningful encounter.
