A visionary manager, dreamer, and creative mind, Aldo Coppola Jr. was born in Milan in 1962. After studying dental technology, he chose to follow his passion for hairstyling. Since 1979, he has worked in the family salon, immersed in the world of fashion, events, and photography. In 1986, he founded The Agency, the first network of freelance hair and makeup artists. From 1987 onwards, he led the expansion of the Aldo Coppola brand, growing it from four salons to over 150 worldwide. A pioneer of the “Beauty Atelier” concept, he designed innovative spaces in collaboration with Philippe Starck and Maletti Design. He has stood out for his commitment to eco-sustainable projects, including the creation of eco-ateliers and Eco-Lighting systems. In 2013, he opened the Kingdom of Beauty in Milan, which was awarded Best Design Atelier in the world. He has designed professional furnishings, such as Dressing Beauty, in collaboration with architect Anton Kobrinetz, and the Wood Nature collection produced by Riva1920. In 2024, he inaugurated the Via Cerva Atelier and received the Best Salon Award in Paris. He worked alongside Giorgio Galli on the design of the Aldo Coppola logo and curated an exhibition at the Triennale di Milano. In 1994, he founded the Aldo Coppola Academy, which now trains over 1,200 salons every year. With an international vision, he has opened salons in Russia, Monte Carlo, the United Arab Emirates, and Switzerland. Since 2016, he has lived in Lugano, where he oversees the brand’s international development, supported by his daughter Federica. A successful manager, he has masterfully blended art and business, transforming a family enterprise into a global leader in the world of hairdressing.
