ALBERTO MEDA

Born in Tremezzina (Como) in 1945, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1969. In 1973, he became Technical Director at Kartell, where he was responsible for product development in both the labware and furniture accessory divisions. Since 1979, he has worked as a freelance designer, collaborating with Brevetti Gaggia, and from 1981, he spent four years working on design projects for Alfa Romeo Auto. He currently lives and works in Milan, continuing his career as an industrial designer in collaboration with various companies, including Alias, Alessi, Arabia-Finland, Cinelli, Colombodesign, Italtel Telematica, JCDecaux, Mandarina Duck, Ideal Standard, Luceplan, Kartell, Omron Japan, Philips, Vitra, Olivetti, Caimi Brevetti, Tubes, and Jins Japan.
