Arts & Foods. Rituali dal 1851 (Rituals from 1851): an exhibition by Germano Celant, taking place at the Triennale Milan from 9th April till 1st November 2015 and which aim is to show the plurality of visual, plastic and environmental languages that move around food, nourishing and conviviality.

TABLE ANTICO
Table designed by Renzo Piano and Matteo and made of millennial Kauri coming from New Zealand.
This table is part of the project “Ground Zero … Ground Heroes”, created after the terrorist attack in New York on September 2001. In collaboration with famous international architects and designers, Riva 1920 realized five tables in kauri wood. Auctioned by Christie’s, the proceeds were donated to the children of the Italian-American firemen died during the rescue operations at the Twin Towers.
The special iron base represents the tangle of the ruins.
